- 1 lb Ground Turkey
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- Small bunch Fresh Parsley, chopped (~1/3 cup)
- 2 – 3 Green onions, chopped
- Kosher Salt & Pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder or 1-2 cloves of minced garlic
- Crushed red pepper (Optional)
- Avocado (for serving)
- Sesame Seed Buns, toasted
- Crack egg in large bowl and scramble. Mix all remaining ingredients except breadcrumbs and season liberally– I find that ground turkey needs more salt & pepper than regular burgers.
- Add breadcrumbs and form into equal size balls, then flatten into patties. This recipe will make 4-5 good size burgers.
- Pan sauté in ~1 tbsp butter on low/medium heat for about 5 – 6 minutes per side until internal temp is 165 degrees. Only flip once if possible to lock in moisture.
