GARLIC STEAK BITES

IMG_9991
  • 1.5 – 2 lbs T-bone steak, cubed
  • Kosher Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • Parsley for garnish, if desired
  1. Cut steak into cubes, trying to make the pieces similar sizes to promote even cooking. Season liberally with kosher salt and pepper.
  2. In a preheated cast iron skillet, add your steak with no oils. Allow to sear without disturbing for 1-2 minutes. Turn and sear the other side for an additional 1-2 minutes or until internal temperature reaches ~120 degrees. Set aside on a plate and allow to rest.
  3. Then, add butter and allow to melt. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the steak back to your pan and toss well with the sauce. This will bring your internal temperature up to about 135 degrees, which is a perfect medium rare.
