IMG_0822
  • 1 – 1.5 lbs Bone In Chicken Thighs
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • Salt & Pepper
  • BBQ Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, combine the dry seasonings to make your spice rub.
  2. Pat chicken thighs dry with a paper towel. Salt and pepper the chicken, then pour spice rub over and press into chicken. Allow to sit for about 30 minutes for best flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to 400 degrees. Place the chicken on the grill skin side down over direct heat for 4-5 minutes. Flip chicken and continue to cook, another 4-5 minutes, or until internal temperature is at least 160 degrees.
  4. Remove to indirect heat. Baste the BBQ sauce on both sides of each piece of chicken. Close the grill and allow sauce to cook another 2-3 minutes. Allow the chicken to rest 5 minutes before serving.
